Team Scrooge 6 vs. Team Grinch 3

Well that was another rather spirited game, just as exciting as last week, but not quite as close... Team Scrooge were stinging after their near-loss last game and came out guns-a-blazing, building up a healthy 4-goal lead and peppering their goalie Wayland Young, with every possible shot, including a dinger off the mask, which was headed away in workman-like fashion... Team Grinch had little reply in the first half, but arguably won the latter stages as they put up some fight and made a game of it, while the opposition hung on. Could have been a different story if some breakaways were converted at either end, while Dharmesh Dass, tripping himself on the ringette line ending a beautiful chance in the offensive zone made for some comic relief. Back to work for both teams to polish up their attack as they change benches and jerseys for the latter part of the series.
