Well that was another nail-biting barn burner. The post-trade era gave lots of locker room banter and renewed energy out there... both sides had jump tonight while both goalies were equal to the task... special teams played a role in (yet another) controversial too-many-men call, while a PP goal and short-handed marker were scored in the process... including a sparkling individual effort right from the face-off where Sean Oye left his opposing centre spinning on his a$$ while deking the defence and scoring in highlight fashion... this game was knotted at 4-4 and 6-6 to keep things rather exciting, and concluded with a prolonged (and effective) extra-man effort in the Grinch end of the ice, but ultimately did not pay off as Dharmesh Dass ices the extra-extra insurance with an empty net goal to seal the win.
