Team Grinch 5 vs. Team Scrooge 5

Another barn burner to end the series, and although it was in-the-bag already from the Team Grinch perspective, there was still much pride on the line and a high tempo game to suit. Both teams had great chances, but Team Scrooge wanted it just a little bit more, building up a lead and hanging onto a one goal margin late in the game, but hold up. Once again, Team Grinch find some rare pull-the-goalie magic and come up with a last minute goal to tie the game (and doing that twice in the series is quite the rare feat indeed). So the game ends in a tie, but the now-infamous series-ending shootout was on tap, and sweet revenge was in favour of Team Grinch as they outlast the shooters to take it in sudden-death shootout mode and taste that cool sweet Gatorade for their reward. Great series had by all, and see you in a new start in two weeks!
