MDHL bids goodbye to summer and kicks off (yet) another season... and with a surprisingly energized effort from both sides tonight... everyone seemed to have all their gear intact and game faces on from the get-go. Both goalies were ready to play. evident with a shocking scoreless tie for over half of the game... rather unprecedented in our loose league. Newly annointed captains, Sean/Lonny (absent tonight) and Norm/Dharmesh were into the game but put their virtual whistles in their pockets for a penalty-free outing... which is fitting as both sides were settling things back and forth on the ice... ending this see-saw battle with a tie, and yet bodes well for a competitive series this fall.
