Last game of the year, and holiday music was on tap in the pre-game... and how fitting, since the first 35 minutes of the game played out like Ebenezer Scrooge, with neither side giving an inch on the scoresheet... and so the chess match played out in this closely contested game with Team White leading on the power-plays tonight, but Team Dark prevailed with some elbow grease and hard work overall... the score stayed closed until the final minutes but Team White decided against the pulled-goalie-extra-attacker scenario and took the loss in the process... otherwise it looks to be a good series with new rookie goalie, Jason Chang in the fold and both sides now getting used to their new linemates. Alas it will be a good year of hockey ahead but until then, a peaceful and merry holiday season to all players and families of the MDHL... happy new year and see you all in 2013!
