WINTER 2012/13 SERIES: MDHL GAME #4 REVIEW

Team DARK 5 vs. Team WHITE 10
Friday, January 11, 2013

Team White drill their opposition resoundingly and tie up the series in the process... Vegas bookmakers had a decided pre-game edge that saw the sub shake-up reunite the Oye brothers on one side and they loaded up the guns on one line adding Al Chang to center them... ultimately it made for a 1 and 1A punch as the other line, the Windermere Express (or was it the old-bickering-ladies line) of Choi-Naidu-Riccardi also did some major damage with the latter baggin a ridiculous 4-goal bonanza. Meanwhile the opposition Team Dark were game, but could not beat goalie Wayland Young in timely manner... and were more than likely deflated in a mildly controversial crease call that negated a goal and immediate aftermath turning a potential 5-4 game, into a 6-3 hole... making for a widening gap as the night progressed... alas the hockey gods wanted to keep this series close and so it shall be written.

MDHL STARS OF THE GAME
  Frank Riccardi
Four goal night in a quiet performance, if there was such a thing.
  Raymond Chan
A bright light on the losing side with some momentum gaining goals of his own.
  Kyle Uno
Blueliner played the patient game and found some offensive spots to light the lamp tonight too.
