SPRING 2012/13 SERIES: MDHL GAME #5 REVIEW

Team WHITE 8 vs. Team DARK 4
Friday, April 12, 2013

Another fast paced game, but not so pretty out there with scrambled action and some ugly PP formations too... but Team White were weary of the mystique of rookie goalie Raymond Chow, so firing in the first goal of the game on the first shot of the game was a nice hex breaker... and turned the tables from last week leaving Team Dark to climb out of a 0-3 hole this time... and they nearly did, as a 3-2 game made it interesting indeed... meanwhile Team White found an excess of D-men with the Dave Wong sub-in, so Orson Low had a rare stint on the wing, but soon moved back to the blueline to help his team secure the victory with 4 unanswered goals in the late stages and thus, Team Dark had no time or opportunity for late game goalie pulling heroics on this night... so the series moves into the latter stages with Team White taking the slight edge in games.

MDHL STARS OF THE GAME
  Terry Wong
Finds his scoring touch on the very first shot of the game.
  Wayland Young
Wins the first (of many) goalie duels of Burnaby Atom hockey managers.
  Jason Lai
Gets the GWG and for a brief moment in time, Bobby Orr looked a bit Chinese.
