Pictures were worth a thousand words (or chips?) as sunglasses and hoodies were out in full force for those coveted show-em chips tonight... and Jason's dynasty reign was finally halted by Norm Chan who wisely (and diplomatically) declined the chopped-pot offer with (surprisingly) an exact 18,000 chips aside for each finalist... in a heads-up dual with the host, gunning for a place in MDPL history as a 4-time consecutive title holder, but alas, when K-K doesn't hold up against 6-6, the poker gods have spoken... so Norm takes down the healthy pot with the coveted double-sized $20 bounty in the process, while Frank Riccardi rounds out a 3rd place ITM finish with more solid play... otherwise, a good night of poker yet with a seat short tonight as two members were late opt-outs (with notice, thanks)... but an 11th hour replacement (and late night dealing) by Orson Low was a welcome addition and he finished strong with a 4th place bubby boy finish in the process... thanks to everyone for your concession contributions to the evening with some variety too, as Mark Yu delivered a freshly baked apple pie and Pete Choi, yet again tipping the host with a generous top-up... 'til next time!
