So the second-to-last event of the season kicked off on a holiday weekend Sunday and the now usual suspects were vying for position atop the standings... on a rare night with conservative play and more shockingly, no re-buys (but for one lonely top-up) in the first hour of play... but it was veteran Dharmesh Dass winning the night and making his first appearance on the leaderboard after a season missing in action (and donating his cash in the process)... his gift-of-the-gab seemed to work in his favour tonight as he outlasted the rest en route to victory and taking out four others in the process... meanwhile Vince Fung still takes his season lead into the final event while ex-Highered Gunz associate, Shaun Malough, took some solace claiming the $10 bounty off his head... Ian Chang deserved a better fate especially considering the coveted Krispy Kreme treat he contributed to the event... else thanks to all that brought food, drink and top-ups to the host... see you at the final (2-table) affair to wrap up the season and cement the standings into the history books.
