New teams and some new (or old) faces in the mix made for a rather up tempo game... I suppose some players were poised to make an impression out there for their new teams... and with new captains in the fold, John Janetka and Lonny Wong for Team Dark, and Eric Lun and Jackson Chiu for Team White... meanwhile, the game had a low scoring, high stakes feel to it tonight as the rookies in the lineup made their contributions felt with big goals from Jeff Ho, Mandip Khunkhun, Michael Nguyen and Kent Polich... with the game tying goal from the latter in the late stages in a controversial play... too bad the goal cam was not working on this evening... meanwhile, Team White managed to kill off the only PP of the game but could not hold onto their 2-goal lead with just under 5 minutes remaining... all and all makes for a closely matched and entertaining best-of-2 series to close out the year.
