Dirty Dogs 11 vs. Likity Split 9
A gritty win for the Dogs sets up a great series finale!

Rolling into the end of the season, the 'Dogs were riding a hot two game win streak and looking for more. The night started with freak pre-game injuries on both sides as Split's Assistant Captain Chris "softball is just my warmup for the night" Archibald tends to his wife taking a tipped ball to the noggin (and an express trip to emergency) while speedy Dog Tom "this isn't how I expected to finish my season" Jong plays an earlier game (sans full facial protection) and is cut for stiches (and another express trip to the hospital). As so the teams battled nine aside and it was the Dogs offense kicking led by hat tricks from Allen "that's what I'm paid to do" Leung and Jason "it's been so long, oh this is what a hat trick feels like" Lai. Nonetheless, the action was intense with both sides having good opportunities including two powerplays for Likity Split, powered by super sub Jeff "fear my speed you pee-ons" Ohashi. Mid-game action saw Albert "speed to burn" Chang in a meeting of mind and body (aka collision) with Terry "slower than you but I can fall just as fast" Wong.

As the game wore on, Dogs Captain Kenny "got a hunch to play" Chiu switches roles on the forward lines and pays dividends working some mojo with alumni retournee Jon "still the have the longest suspension record I see" Low back for a rare stint. All and all, the Dogs survived the late game scare and held on for the win to setup a final game looking to tie the series!

3. Stan Quan... the reluctant D man comes up with a key block late in the game.
2. Allen Leung... three goals and the insurance marker for the win.
