An impromptu GG cookie sale with late distribution of show-em chips ensued (while waiting for the tardy seller to appear)... but it was all systems go for a Thanksgiving holiday weekend of poker action. The first bounty of the season (on Vince's head) was awarded to Stan Quan, who also amassed a ridiculous stack of chips in the process while nailing nearly every hand on the rankings order (short of a royal or straight flush), but stunningly ended up on the bubble in 4th place when it was all said and done... meanwhile it may have been fitting that Lynn Wilcott, who had his own impressive stack of chips decimated in the previous event, navigated the waters for a saavy first-place finish to go with his box of cookies. Mike Nishi took the runner-up spot with his hazy been-up-since-5AM play, and your loyal host was happy (and lucky) to take 3rd spot while padding his ITM percentage (and was extra grateful to VF and PC for graciously picking up his buy-in and top-up tabs tonight). Thanks to everyone that contributed snacks/drinks to the evening... see you next time (and I'll get our banner taped up this time... I hope.)
