FALL 2013 SERIES: MDHL GAME #6 REVIEW

Team WORLD 8 vs. Team WINDERMERE 5
Friday, November 1, 2013

The MDHL resumed tonight with collective support for our friend Terry and a moment of silence to mark the passing of his father, Arthur Wong. Playing with black arm bands and the usual end to end action, Team World tied up the series once again with a hard-fought win after giving up the first goal of the game. In a night sprinkled with a mixed bag of calls, non-calls, and missed calls, no one was more jilted than Orson Low who probably needs to spit out some chiclets next time to get some high-sticking justice. Meanwhile, Carlos Alves also got the short end of some encounters, but overall it was an all offence kind of night as both goalies were kept busy. Amidst all the encouragement (and shouting, ha), it was just another game of weekend (fun) hockey for all of us, so we should relish the experience and put it all into perspective on this particular night. See you on the ice in two weeks.
