School spirit is alive and well with Team Windermere as they dug deep and gutted out a huge win to keep their series hopes alive in this do-or-die game. At one stage, it was an all-Windermere alumni unit on the ice for the face-off, bringing a tear to the eye of teachers from yesteryear no doubt, and they certainly brought it, as every player to a man played hard and gave Team World more than they could handle tonight. Of course, that little matter of having to restrain players when tempers boiled over was a scene everyone could do without, but nonetheless it was a big win for the victors and spoiled the cameo sub return of Jason Zeidler between the pipes, almost a year removed from his last outing (with us coincidentally). Just one final game on tap (for the calendar year in fact) and Team World look regroup and ice the series to make the shootout finale just about the drinks and only the drinks.
