Time for some ho-ho-hold'em for the holidays, and secret santa gifts were the bounty of choice tonight for this 2-table affair. Some were dressed to the nines for some holiday spirit and earned a show-em chip for their efforts too. Too bad the grinch was also lurking tonight as just a few poker studs cleaned up on the majority of the gifts as it played out and the 11th hour guest, Matt Chan, came on board to take it all down for a magical rookie debut and instantly rockets up the season leaderboard too. Our other ITM finishers, Mark, Nigel, and Vince rounded out the top four with impresive showings of their own, with the latter taking out Gerard for a $10 bounty and ending his fairy tale 2-for-2 ITM run to open his MDPL career.
Meanwhile, the rest of us were left to regroup for the new year and the host gets time to fix the broken table screen too. All and all a good night of poker during the holidays and the MDPL thanks everyone for attending and also raising a collective $100 towards our x-mas angel program. Happy new year, all the best in 2014.
