WINTER 2013/14 SERIES: MDHL GAME #9 REVIEW

Team DARK 9 vs. Team WHITE 3
Friday, March 7, 2014

After the injury clouded game from last week and resulting long-term IR of Frank Riccardi, his loss appears to be the gain for Mandip Khunkhun as he draws in as the interim f/t replacement... and immediately makes a statement with a game opening goal in sniper-like fashion, and then the rout was on. While Team Dark was firing on all cylinders it was the exact opposite for Team White having mixed up lines, penalty issues and players going down mid-game with (slight) injuries to keep them on their heels all night long. All told, it was not pretty for one side but the other is feeling pretty good about their chances right about now.

MDHL STARS OF THE GAME
  Mandip Khunkhun
Making a case for his teammates to wonder... Frank who?
  John Janetka
Solid on his own right, but gets the pity nod for taking that nasty slapper from his own guy but getting back into the game like a warrior nonetheless.
  Gordy Chan
Miscues and bad line changes... but makes up for it with a solo breakaway goal (almost).
