Team Dark 7 vs. Team White 2

An 11 game series and the tie breaking finale on tap with no shootout gimmick on the agenda... but unfortunately they much anticipated hype did not live up to the marquee billing as Team White was unable to find its offense and line chemistry, while Team Dark was firing on all cylinders tonight and finding the net with regularity, while their (mostly) sub defense shut the door with some tight play in their own end. Meanwhile, the goalie scene was the highlight of the night, as young Gino Cutri pulls the elusive double-shutout as he managed to stifle both teams he faced tonight... to the dismay of the losing side but the better team won tonight. All and all it was a close see-saw series with an ideal 11-gamer to wrap it up and the MDHL looks to do it one more time with another (final) 11-game series queued up to wrap the season.
