J-Lau wins big cash and does the Dogs proud.

So what looks to be an annual summer tradition kicked off with the Highered Gunz (in black) taking on the Mad Dogs (in white) for some no-holds-barred poker with $5 opposition bounties on the line. Three tables of rocking poker action and an arcade cabinet awaiting the losers, it was a good time in spite of a crappy laptop struggling to run the event with power issues galore. So with a whopping $960 in the pirze pool and year-long bragging rights up for grabs, it looked like a night for the Dogs tonight as they managed to grab the top two ITM positions with J-Lau amassing a great wall of chips along the way and the $450 top prize for his troubles. Meanwhile his friend, Dog counterpart, and MDPL season 6 runner-up, Gerard Tang whittles his way into 2nd spot getting to the final heads-up showdown. As for those Gunners, it was honourary members and neighbours, Ed and Miro finishing close behind to uphold some honour for their camp, while Lynn Wilcott (a longtime Gun and recent Dog) took the final (fifth place) ITM finish. Good times and thanks to our gracious host Vince Fung for offering up his monstrous basement for our antics. Have a great summer everyone and hope to do it again next year!
