Walt pulls off the rare double!

A rare double indeed as Walt Woo schools the field en route to his second straight victory... all done wearing a ladies' hat no less. Crazy hat night was on tap and a few choice specimens were on display including J-Lau sporting a purple monkey attached to his head which (almost) deserved a separate prize just for that. A crazy night indeed as the usual saavy veterans somehow fell by the wayside, while the MDPL rookie debut of Peter Chen found himself making a respectable bubble position finish. On the ITM side, last season's champ Vince Fung ground his way to a cagey third place finish, but the big news of the evening was last-minute, unexpected, 11th seat appearance and never-before-ITM dude Ray Chiang finishing in a stellar runner-up performance including an unprecedented $15 cash pot haul thanks to the latecomers' penalty fees... great for Ray and great for his wallet too. A good night and thanks to all for their poker top-ups to the host, exotic candies and eats from local and afar (South Africa in this case), and of course, the booze!
