The host prevails… remember it!

A quick turnaround of just two days for this event from the last... and on the eve of stat Remembrance Day the irony was not lost as some of you didn't remember your poppies for your show-em chips (while Flavio's Team Mexico jersey is still MIA)... it was also Team Whitecaps taking on all comers as MDPL rookies Steve Bridge and Kyle Bowman made their debuts in this 5 vs. 5 bounty format... and while both of them were languishing in the early rounds, Kyle took some sage advice from the host... and rallied all the way to the finals (taking two bounties along the way) into a heads-up showdown with said host... but his cinderella finish fell short as the sunglasses-adorned host dominated the heads-up match to take the victory and his own two bounties in the process... meanwhile fellow countryman Steve had to settle with fresh baked banana bread for his 8th place consolation... Peter Chen was solid once again but finds the bubble position in his second consecutive appearance, while rounding out the winners... Peter Choi completed his own solid 3rd place ITM finish including winning ten big ones from the no-last-event-winner-bounty-blind-hand showdown against the other five in attendance from the previous event. All told, it was a stellar mid-week outing and thanks to everyone for their contributions of snacks, healthy apples, red wine and of course the complimentary top-ups to the host. Much appreciated.
