Allen is a first-time captain elect for DARK team... game featured six subs including new rookies Jeff Ho and Michael Leung... low scoring affair for first half of the game... stuck at 2-0... while sub Brian Kinderchuk makes his presence felt with a head hunter shot off G Ken Takeda's mask... Dark's Travis Wong converts for two goals in a losing cause... Dark's captain Jason Lai takes an untimely late game penalty initiating a "skate" sandwich thanks in part to sub Kenny Chiu's backchecking... other subs included Ron Lai, Arnold Chang and Tommy Kee, all making their debuts with the MDHL... WHITE is called for too-many-men penalty while trying to get their lines in sync... DARK loses two defensemen due to foot injury (Ron Pong) and broken skate lace (Jackson Chiu) leaving the team short manned and outgunned in the final stages...
