Jon takes the season lead!

Another night of poker, but this time around we managed to up the classy level with scarves, ties and some lovely rookie females who graced our presence tonight (and at 1/2 price buy-ins, I'm sure they were happy to join in too). It was no-holds-barred poker as $5 bounties were on the line along with usual bragging rights tonight. While the red wine and beer was free flowing tonight (and thank you for a slew of recyclable empties by the way), it was our top 3 finishers who cleaned up on all the bounties between them. Conspiracy?
Nonetheless, veteran Vince Fung took 3rd spot and the highly sought after triple-value $15 bounty from last-event-winner Ray, while rookie Sara Hoogland made a stellar debut taking the runner-up spot (and schooling her veteran boyfriend in the process)... and it was none other than Jon Shih, who took down an event-high 5 bounties and first prize, including top honours on the season leaderboard supplanting the disappointed (but then too-drunk-to-care) host.
Thanks to everyone for making it out, bringing some food and drink to share, as well as doling out complimentary top-ups to the host too. Hope to see you all next time!
