(Bruno graces us with a game recap this time around. First, captaincy, now this, I predict he will bump FR from his GM role in a year or so at this rate. J.) I often wondered how J remembered the little nuances that occurred during games and used them for his game summary. So it's ironic that he asked me to write one since all I think about post game is - what am I gonna eat? But here goes... White wins (7-3 I think?). The only thing Black did right was strategically winning rock-paper-scissors (figuring Dr. Cal would go paper after years of study and he would assume the dock worker would choose rock, so I went scissors and chopped him up). Black chose Ray and while playing solid, Ziggy played lights out for White with some awesome reflex saves, great rebound control and a couple Mike Ward breakaway stops. In front of him was as good of a total team defense game as I have seen. Throw in a Dharmesh hat-trick and it was total domination by White. Black needs to win out to capture the cup.
