From cameo writer FR: Game 3 saw the Oye brothers squaring off against each other in a rare family feud. The Vegas odds had the over under at 12 goals which was peculiarly high given that starting goalies Norm Lee and Wayland Young were known to be stingy as misers.

Scorekeeper Amilio Minici sounded the horn and Team Dark took an early lead after just a few minutes. A lead that would never be relinquished. Team White would counter multiple times with seven goals of their own, however, Team Dark and their 13 goals were more than enough to increase their series lead by two games.
