From Worst to First!

With tax deadlines and general life getting in the way, the MDPL schedule finally resumed and most everyone had their cool sunglasses at the ready for their show-em chips tonight. Four present members were in contention for key leaderboard positioning but it was your loyal host surprising himself by finishing first on the night especially after his dismal first-loser status from the previous event (but all that red wine consumption may have played a small role). Runner-up Ian Chang also collects some sizable cashola but is supplanted atop the leaderboard by said host. Lynn Wilcott rounds out the ITM finishers with a solid come-from-behind third place finish and those three did the collective heavy lifting taking out the rest of the group for hitman bragging rights. Meanwhile, Vincent Fung looked like an early contender riding the up-and-down rollercoaster of chip stacks, yet finished out of the Top 3 but reclaims his own Toonie late-penalty-pot to finish $2 ahead of the rest of the pack. Special thanks to our lovely hostess Livia Chan (with a rare stay-at-home appearance tonight) who took care of the amenties management including contributing a home baked spinach dip of her own. Good times tonight and thanks to everyone for their contribution too, especially those rockin' wine bearers. 'Til next time.
