Team WHITE 6 vs. Team DARK 6

A rarer 11th game (and season finale) finished in a deadlock, just the way this wacky series went... for an unprecedented fourth tie of the series. Too bad Team White only managed two wins otherwise, leaving Team Dark to seal the series in the previous week and claim cup victory into the summer. The game itself had many twists and turns as Team White struck first but Team Dark and their relentless forecheck managed to pull ahead in the later stages to build a 2-goal lead, but with some goalie-pull, extra-attacker magic, Team White managed not just one, but two goals in the late stages to seal a tie (but sure felt like a win). The shootout was a bit of redemption for Team White as well, winning the knock-off Gatorade prize with a 2-0 victory with Wayland Young turning away all Team Dark shooters.

Otherwise, it was festive night to wrap the season as a pre-game movie and post-game pizza party was on tap for anyone that could make it. On behalf of Frank and myself, we wish you all a safe and relazing summer. See you in the fall or even earlier we hope.
