Happy Canada Day… for 5 of us in particular.

So the finale of the season was on tap and with more than a few prospective playas in contention for the overall title too. Canada Day colours and flags were the theme and (most) everyone looked great tonight for the two tables of poker action to whittle the field down to a final table of 10... leaving Raymond, Ian and Jason all still in-it-to-win-it all (the overall bracelet that is), but your latter series leader and host bowed out in 7th place with just a measley (but grateful) $10 bounty in his pocket… and was left to sweat it out to see if the others would grab glory, but alas it was veteran and cagey players Lynn Wilcott, Shaun Malough and Nigel Williamson taking the top 3 positions after the dust settled... leaving Jason with the overall series title, and joins his buddy Frank Riccardi as the only 2-time season winners on this modest circuit. Too bad the *cup* was out for maintenance repairs so that victory photo will have to wait. Thanks to everyone for their participation, contribution and camraderie all season long. Good times.
