So the MDHL took advantage of a rare break in the ice schedule to reconvene at the Royal City Curling Club for a dip into the curling rink and some social time. Many rookies were on tap but we were all under the close tutilege of their provide chaperone, Gene, who gave us a quick primer and the game was on. Beer before and after (but not during, unfortunately) helped the festivities no doubt. All told, it was Team Jerseys dismantling Team No-Jerseys in an 11-5 drubbing, along with a few bruised knees and egos along the way. Good thing we figured out exactly how to keep score to record that into the history books!

MDHL STARS OF THE GAME    Sherman Woo  Debatably the most decorated curler of the bunch, at least he knew WTH to do.    Eric Lun  Losing side but saved face for his team with a big league play at the final end.    Jason Lai  Put in a few key rocks to help the winning side and looked good in his jersey in the process.
