Gents, some housekeeping news and notes:

Photos from last series as well as the curling social are posted. Next series schedule is also up with first game on Friday Jan 6th back at Trout Lake. New f/t players this series: Ravi, Benny and rookie Tim Tran, while we bid farewell to Norm, Young and Jay. Stay tuned for team rosters later next week.

Also, in keeping with our annual tradition, our MDHL x-mas angel program reached out to another worthy candidate this season as a single mother of two teenage kids were helped with $500 cash (from league funds as well as personal contributions from Frank and myself). She was working two jobs to support her family, living in temporary conditions and her estranged (abusive) husband was not in the picture at all. Food, shelter and clothing were all issues for this family and she was overwhelmed to tears with our helping hand. Frank coordinated this effort through a contact of his, so our thanks to him for making this happen. He can update you with more details here in person if you wish.

Finally, a shout out to you all to review the player star ratings at the site to ensure some form of sub parity. Please remember to vote EVEN IF YOU AGREE with the current rating since the majority of recorded votes secures the rating.
