Could this be the ressurrection of the dormant MDPL poker circuit? Only time will tell but tonight's first dip into a hastily assembled STT event on just 24 hours notice was a nice start. It was also a new venue since the last official event in 2015 but now missing the infamous DIY table everyone was so accustomed to... instead it was a MacGyer effort with speedcloth, foam and paper clips to do the job tonight but the cards and chips still flew okay, especially for the three winners Lynn, J-Lai and Ray, who outlasted the star destroyer chip stack from Dharmesh as well as the aggressive plays from Mark and J-Lau as we all renewed the rivalries and worked the rust off too. Props to newbies Quincy and Dean who popped their cherries with the MDPL and rounded out the group nicely too. Thanks for the booze and eats from our generous contributors tonight.
