WINTER 2018 SERIES: MDHL GAME #4 REVIEW

Team WHITE 6 vs. Team DARK 4
Friday, January 26, 2018

Pre-game started with all Cranberries song tracks in memory of their fallen lead singer, gone at the tender age of 46 (which is likely a median age for the MDHL). Linger, Dreams and Zombie rocked out over the loudspeakers to lead into another great game. More great for Team White as they banked their second consecutive victory in what could have been a runaway victory at 6-1 but opposition stud D-man John Janetka left mid-game due to nausea and ironically sparked his team to drill in three unanswered goals and start a full 4-minute tire fire for Team White, desperately handling that puck like a grenade in their own zone... begging for that clock to wind down (and so it did). Finally, your author is composing this with his teeth happily intact after taking a hard puck directly to the mouth while sitting on the bench... with his protective mask doing its job and likely deserving of a star in itself, but I digress.

MDHL STARS OF THE GAME
  Tim Tran
An earthquake off Alaska and Timbo scores a world rocking goal too. Crazy times.
  Carlos Alves
Four goals! Okay, it was in the previous week but still.
  Paul Fruitman
Powered by his secret sauce, Fruitman rebounds with 3 points and redemption from last game.
