Team Dark 10 vs. Team White 8

Team Dark rolls on with their second victory in as many games... another classic MDHL matchup as both teams had great chances... Tom Ng returns to the roster from his summer hiatus... while Terry Wong and Lawrence Lau pull substitutions tonight... Team White jumped out to an early three goal lead but soon to be erased thanks to solid contributions by both Team White forward lines... interim assistant captain Jason Lai leads all scorers with his second hat trick in as many games (making him the unofficial goal suck... er... leader, to-date)... intense checking on both sides yielded offensive zone penalties to each team... to Chris Archibald and Dom Kwong... Team White capitalizes on their chance making for a 100% power-play efficiency which ain't too shabby...

In other classic replays, Team Dark's Gon Yip manages to spear himself to the ice after having his stick lifted near the boards... Team White's Fraser Stampvincent scores the game-tying goal with a signature move for the highlight reel... in desperation (or determination) Team White pulls goalie Norm Chan for the extra attacker but it backfires as Ian Chang deposits the puck for his second goal of the game... both Fraser and Kenny Chiu score two each to raise their series goal totals to five and a good race for the unofficial "Rocket Richard" trophy... look for Team White to come out blastin' and searching for their first win next week...

MDHL 3 Stars:
3. Brian Kindrachuk... steady rearguard in the losing cause, but contributed offensively with a nice individual effort as well...
2. Ian Chang... long time sub turns in a stellar outing on the wing for Team White...
1. Jason Lai... three goals including the game winner... hooray for me.
