Beat down. It was MDHL MVP appreciation night with 9 MDHLers and 1 stowaway attending the 3D showing of Alita : Battle Angel, at Metrotown beforehand, and while it was an entertaining flick, it was just Team White that were in full battle mode when the puck dropped. It was a full court press as the Alves-Naidu-Riccardi line picked up from last week and came in threatening waves all night long. Without the heroics of G Wayland Young, it could have been a double digit nightmare, but instead it was just a semi-humiliating 6-0 deficit before Albert Chang broke the shutout bid late in the game. As bad as it was for Team Dark unable to make plays, it was equally great for Team White firing on all cylinders tonight, from the goal on out. So this series will not end on a quiet note as Team White are determined to make a charge and tie things up next week no doubt. Where's Alita when you need her?
