Yet again, from the new host of the evening, DD:
Always the bridesmaid??? Bubble bobble boy??? Round two at the 'clubhouse' this Canada day long weekend was on tap. We almost had a full table for MDPL episode 102 which was great all things considered. It was bounty night which made things interesting with many of us 'in the money'. There was some rather loose play early on with plenty of rebuys...boosting the pot as well. Yours truly had a triple knock out just before the first break to take a huge chip lead. Once the knock out rounds started, it was Mark who flamed out first, ending his quest for the elusive three-peat courtesy of Norm early on. The final four ended up being myself, Vince, Ian and Simon. Once again I was bubble boy (hopefully not three-peating this at the next event!) and was taken out by Vince (again). The final two ended up being a showdown between Simon and Vince with Simon prevailing in the end (with Vince being the bridesmaid once again). A huge thank you for all the great food (homemade banana bead from Vince’s better half) and drinks (special thanks to Simon for a lovely bottle of scotch for the host). Until Episode 103... rumoured to possibly be July 20 at the clubhouse...possibly the last one before it is rented!
