Season finale at the clubhouse!

And yet again, from our MDPL guest host, DD:
Stix and stones can break my.... well... it was a very nice finale for the unofficial 'Clubhouse' with plenty of booze flowing and everyone decked in their summer attire for that coveted show-em chip. A first shout out to Norm for driving a pleasantly pickled Lynn home last night. Thank you for taking care of him. Thanks to Frank for very nice house warming bottle of Brandy and for coming a wee bit late to shoot in another $5 for J-Lau's money haul. Finally, a thanks to J-Lai and Vince for supplying chairs and the table to make the event happen!
Also, thank you Norm for one of the biggest hands we've seen in a while... beating yours truly with a straight flush over my presumed unbeatable full house. There were plenty of large hands in the early rounds with chips shifting around. I was on a mission to not bubble a fourth straight time in my own house!! Bubble boy honours ended up going to J-Lai, as I was glad to pass that torch.
In the later rounds, Norm, Lynn and J-Lau battled it out for top three honours with J-Lau edging Norm in a crazy heads up battle. Jay had 20 x the chips that Norm had... but that shifted to Norm and then back to Jason for the win.
Thanks again for all the booze contributions... it was appreciated and it all made the clubhouse experience memorable! -- DD
