Team Dark 12 vs. Team White 9

Another hum-dinger, but also another loss for Team White... the game never appeared in doubt though the play was spirited at both ends... Chris Archibald turns in a quiet but stellar five-goal performance in a losing cause... both teams battled and in the literal sense too as White goalie Ken Takada does a Dan-Cloutier-like imitation with a swift glove hand shot to an opposing player's head, all that while stopping Jason Lai on a penalty shot too... the game was a comparative penalty parade with four members in the sin-bin including Allen Leung and Gon Yip for on-ice roughing... what goons...

It was another game missing two regular captains in Anthony Chang and Lawrence Lau while assistant-elect Kenny Chiu only figures out he's a captain mid-game and after that, exercises his penalty-calling power to the max... captains agreed on a 'competition levelling' trade with the subs sending defensive stalwart Derek Lowe to the White side in exchange for untested sophomore appearance by Jeff Wong, who in turn explodes for a hat-trick (hey, wasn't he the shorter end of the deal??)... also a rare appearance from sub and ex-super sniper Ernie Ma makes an appearance on Team Black and instantly makes his line-mates better players (at least for one night)... Team White are still looking for their first win of the season and will look for their best players to be their best players, as the cliche goes...

2. Jeff Wong... three goals compares him to a Jason-King-like reputation.
1. Norm Chan... steady between the pipes and holds his team in there for the win.
