Team WHITE 9 vs. Team DARK 3

Goodbye to last series and 2019 for that matter, as 2020 rings in and a new series begins. Alas only one team could start the year on a winning note, and it was Team White taking a convincing 9-3 decision with offense clicking while backstopped by the successful rookie debut of Reinier Halbertsma making timely saves when called upon. Team Dark played with just nine skaters but kept things interesting at an early 2-2 deadlock, but two quick (and slightly bizarre) goals scored by Team White from improbable shot angles (on back to back shifts no less) started a slippery slope for Team Dark. Captaincy voting online was concluded beforehand and Jeff/Orson will lead Team Dark, while Jason/Frank will lead Team White in this final series of the season... so make it a good one an remember to take care of those groins.
