MDHL celebrated their annual MVP recognition event and 10 fine gentlemen came out in the pre-game for a movie viewing of the war drama 1917. Intense flick and got some of them pumped up for the ensuing battle on the ice... namely Team Dark coming in fast and furious in waves of offense ringing up a 4-0 lead after only a few shifts (not to mention peppering our poor goalie all night long). The zone time and Corsi ratings were off the charts with Dark supersubs Nick Young and Shawn Exley leading the charge for their side against not-much-response from the opposition but they did manage to chip in a few against the run of the play. Team White iced a creative lineup with a less than scary defense but the tilted ice did not help matters overall. Nonetheless, Team Dark got a well deserved win after losing the series outcome in the week previous. Just two games left in the season gents!
