Another night of poker with a lighter attendance this time, but some still turned out to pad their stats while regaling stories of yesteryear, when poker was played in person without webcam technical difficulties and such. Nonetheless, it was still a tidy and fun evening on tap while those original MDPL gangstas, Norm Chan and Mark Yu, wiped away the tears of last season turning in a stellar one-two finish tonight. With just a 13-person turnout and no returning champ, only the top three placings paid, making Gerard Tang the bubble boy in fourth spot (but still has a commanding lead on the season standings) while rookie James Sy took the bronze ITM honours.
Meanwhile, the Mad Dogs Angels Fund claimed the unclaimed bounty tonight and will be making a future cash donation towards one of our Mad Dogs alumni, Allen Leung (he of our ice hockey chapter from a decade ago) who has an unfortunate health situation to deal with.
