2005 SPRING SERIES: GAME #2 REVIEW

Team Feast 12 vs. Team Beast 8
Friday, April 15, 2005

And so the traditional 'captains get to name their teams' feedback is in and Team Feast (DARK) and Team Beast (WHITE) are born... dunno if that garners originality votes, but whatever... Team Feast takes command of this game bolstered by their newly elected captain Derek Lowe debuting this series while centering the night's killer line with Anthony Chang and Travis Wong... the latter the recipient of so many breakout passes while the former was lethal lighting the lamp tonight... too much for Team Beast who also had the debut of their assistant Chris Archibald, doing battle against his cousin Chris Stampvincent on the other side while collectively establishing the league's 10% token-white-guy clause... Arch's enthusiasm also nets him the game's only penalty on an elbowing call which led to a PP goal in addition to his team's overall collapse by the midway point... meanwhile, newbie rookie Dennis Chan keeps his scoring streak alive on a breakaway chance sporting a 1 goal-per-game career scoring average... goalie Jay Estoque's winning streak comes to crashing end being on the wrong side of the W/L column while youngster Calvin Cheng gets his first win of the series.
