Movember in December, thanks to some desperate scheduling to secure a venue courtesy of Liv Chan and the Kitchener Elementary School. Vincent and Jason hosted a unique and mostly-for-fun format pickleball event, rewarding awesome plays including ATPs, ernes, berts, tweeners, behind-the-back and yes, even body bagging.

Thankfully it all was just superficial brusing tonight, and Terry Wong is awarded a pity prize on the receiving end of the most body blows. Everyone jockeyed in the prelims with different partners each game to amass personal stats for wins and points to ascend to the Top 8 medal round slots. With continuous play, social time and eats, the nearly six hour event flew by and the medal rounds and prize raffles were hastily kicked off.

A tie breaker on points was needed to finalize the final three slots and the medal rounds were completed while the cleanup crew was underway. Final results had 2/7 ranked team Jason/Ed toppling the 1/8 ranked team Greg/Sherman in the finals, while 3/6 team Henry/Ray beat out 4/5 team Gordon/Dharm for the "bronze".

Great time on a Friday night with prizes, food, drink, and lots and lots of pickleball. Many thanks to the organizing committee, sponsors and volunteers to make this event possible while raising over $900 to support a great cause too.
