Mad Dogs Golf KP challenge #4 finally made it to Ledgeview GC in Abbotsford, notwithstanding the commuting hassle on the way in, thanks to #1 hwy congestion. Back to our ideal 8-player configuration with a 1PM start on a (surprisingly) hot, yet beautiful, summer day. And... once again, co-host and defending putter champ, Kyle Uno opens with the putting contest title, but this time by a razor thin 4 inch margin over Peter Chen as the final competitor in the lineup.

Ledgeview was a great, yet tough track with narrow fairways abound. Oof. Congrats to the three KP winners: Kyle, Raymond and Chin, all throwing darts on the dance floor, while Peter dug deep when it counted... crushing a monster drive down the middle in the LD contest after more than a few duffed or hooked tee shots beforehand. Otherwise, no one was killing it out there, with more than a few errant shots abound, but it was good times as usual, in what seems to be a de-facto summer concluding golf outing for most of us.
Our post-round dinner was at Lou's Grill, a first time visit for all of us in these parts... and kudos to the hiring manager and chefs for a hearty meal after battling 18 holes. Meanwhile, Chin Lin was the lucky recipient of the Canucks raffle prize (courtesy of our generous sponsor Coach Steve) and Kyle and Jason were glad you chaps made it out to enjoy the day. So, same time, new place next year (annually on the last Saturday in August)?
