After a long summer break, the MDHL finally resumes tomorrow (Friday, 23rd).

The usual core suspects are back for our 11th season (!) joined by some alumni retournees and a few sibling and friends that make up the rookie contingent. I trust everyone will familiarize themselves with the current and new rules, if not, please visit the site for all the details. A few more notes:

- captaincy voting results will be announced tomorrow, rememeber, captains will set lines, keep scores, and their penalty calls apply across either team (rightly or wrongly).

- 13 players aside for the first time (as a trial) so keep your shifts short and sweet 'cuz God (and your teammates) despises floaters.

- no red line this year (i.e. 2 line passes are OK) but as usual, positional off-sides are called by any player on or off the ice, respect the calls, please.

- finally the most important... you $125 payment is now due! Cheques payable to 'Stan Quan' please. Late charges apply after week 2.
