Team Murder Inc. 16 vs. Team G-Unit 8

BIFF… BAM!... which are the distinct sounds of Team G-Unit taking one on the chin tonight in a rout... Team Murder Inc. took the boots to the hapless G-Unit on a night of roster oddities with no-shows, latecomers, and subs abound... so many subs that an unofficial record of 7 lineup changes were recorded (even though Kenny Chiu's replacement ditched us for Las Vegas at the 11th hour)... whatever the case G-Unit got the short end of the stick with both captains out of action and usual hockey diehards Allen Leung and Jason Lai pulling a no-show and a late-show respectively... even with capable subs Fern Chow, Nixon Tham and the rookie debut of Vincent Kwok all of whom were stellar performers, their team crumbled miserably in the late stages after hanging on to a pond hockey like 5-5 tie at the midway point... from then on, Murder Inc. methodically popped in the goals, including a sweet one timer hammered in by Terry Wong and some usual offense from a rare appearance from alumni Kevin Ma... D Jason Chu turns in another solid effort and yet another highlight reel effort to light the lamp... even a dribbler of a shot by Stan Quan couldn't help but find its way in tonight... and it didn't help matters for G-Unit with a non-call faking Sherm Woo into his supposed third penalty in as many games due to masquerading captain-wannabes (aka Derek Lowe!)... Murder Inc.'s assistant captain Travis Wong (yet another latecomer) admitted to "toying" iwth the opposition and the end result certainly supported his claim... til next week...

MDHL STARS OF THE GAME    Jason Chu  Strong all series long and adds a highlight reel goal tonight.    Vincent Kwok  Excellent debut in the league... clean, good hands and chipped in some much needed offense.      Always a force, and tonight was no different. View the lifetime game star tally.
