Team Murder Inc. 12 vs. Team G-Unit 6 Friday, November 25, 2005
Writing about yet another lopsided ass-kicking is getting tiring... Murder Inc. continue to steam roll and clinch the series without much of a fight in recent games... two recent no-shows by hockey nut Allen Leung didn't help matters, nor does the non-existence of captain Ron Pong this series but overall Murder Inc. still outskated and outperformed their opposition in nearly all counts as of late... Team morale was hurtin' on the losers' side but look no further than the captains who failed to initiate mid-series trades as part of the problem... so down with the ship they all go... in game action sub Minger Cheung manages to break not one, but two sticks along the way... Travis Wong vies for a late series PIM run with two minors tonight... Stan Quan manages a rare "Stan trick"... a goal, an assist and a self-injury turning over on his own ankle with no one within a 10 foot radius... limping off early but okay thereafter... some recent retournees on the losing side, Sean Oye, Lawrence Lau and Tommy Wong finally get back to game action... but all likely wishing they stayed home on this particular night of spanking... lastly, after so many nights of crappy pond ice, the MDHL experiences their first mid-game ice cleaning... welcome to the bigs, boys!
