Team MDHL 18 vs. Team Krueger 8 Friday, March 17, 2006
Immediately following their finish from the last 10-game set, Team MDHL compiles a squad to take on unknown Team Krueger in the following week, fielding a 12 man squad less powerful than games past… in spite of late recruitment of Sean Oye and pulling super sub Jeff Ohashi into the mix… all the worry was for naught as Team MDHL won handily in a less than intense game… the opposition likely made the "old timers" category and had skilled players, but didn't work as a unit (for the most part) and lacked any sort of desperation or intensity to make a tight contest… and with the aforementioned players it was mostly cruise control for the night… the D corps including Dave Wong, Jackson Chiu and Stan Quan were quietly solid all night while other forward notables included Albert Chang skating miles at center and Lonny Wong, arguably the hardest working player all night long… even with the mid game ice cleaning and switching sides to change the view, Team MDHL never relinquished a five goal lead and ended the game on a victorious and otherwise mutually enjoyable and clean game. Thanks to Paul Krueger for his organizational efforts.

| | Jeff Ohashi Dazzling offense and sweet skating moves, easily the class of both sides tonight. | | | Sean Oye With the unofficial season MVP, should there ever be any worry when he's back on D? | | | Albert Chang The other center working with the 3-pair of wingers played a great two way game, as he usually does. | View the lifetime game star tally.
