Only nine aside on both ends as Nixon Tham and sub Gon Yip both pull unexpected no-shows... made for a lower scoring affair but dominated by Team DARK peppering goalie Calvin Cheng as he takes his first loss of the series... out-of-town visitor Clement Yuen makes a nice debut in his first of two game appearances, while Robert Watson makes his presence felt helping to cover the open ice and make room for his team mates... captain Jason Lai chips in a hat-trick for the winning side while also having to flag down his players for the game's only two penalties... to no avail, as Team WHITE couldn't get it in gear for any sustained attack despite gallant efforts by captain Albert Chang and spark plug Lonny Wong... otherwise, the series debut by Ken Takeda, Stan Quan, Tommy Wong and Geoff MacDougall make for more familiarity all around as the series gets warmed up for the spring... look for more spirited play and a faster pace as everyone find their groove in the coming weeks...
