Argh. Team Thunder are unable to prolong the series as they go down fighting in another loss. Close is only good in horseshoes and hand-grenades as they say. Subs Basse Clement and Mark Kondo fill in admirably for the victors, and captains Nixon Tham and Chris Archibald have been money-in-the-bank all series long and tonight was no exception. Even with Team Lightning taking both penalties tonight, they fired in a short handed goal for good measure. Meanwhile Team Thunder welcomed Derek Lowe into the fold after a short hiatus, while he played fine, overall the team was unable to make good on chances including some inept breakaway efforts from Jason Lai. Bench that captain! So can Team Thunder now keep the remaining games interesting as they play for pride and manhood?

MDHL STARS OF THE GAME    Kelvin Cheng  Some great saves and looked all-world in getting the win.    Mark Kondo  Super sub used his super speed all night long and his screen shot goal was the nail in the coffin.    Chris Archibald  Smooth playmaker makes everyone else around him better.
