2007 FALL SERIES: MDHL GAME #4 REVIEW

Team DARK 7 vs. Team WHITE 10
Friday, November 16, 2007

What a tilt. Arguably the most entertaining game in recent memory, with both sides trading goals and momentum throughout... regular captains on Team Dark were absent while Derek Lowe and Jim Chan were handed the reins... the latter of which was stuck figuring out the how to work a pad lock while the game commenced without him... Rich Chang makes a welcome return in sub duty and meanwhile, Jason Lai breaks his (league?) iron man streak due to injury and has to settle for referee duties, happily handing out no less than four minors throughout... goals came from all sources with a great mix of skill and garbage goals too... ultimately, it was the Team White killer line of A.Oye-Chang-Chang that got the crucial markers and put the nail on the coffin spearheading three unanswered late goals to break a 7-7 deadlock... everyone worked hard all night as the play was spirited while sub Peter Choi quietly kept his goal streak alive too.

MDHL STARS OF THE GAME
  Albert Chang
Used his speed and some sweet finesse for some timely goals.
  Norman Chan
Almost a scratch due to fatigue, but soldiered on and gets the win.

Always a threat whenever on the ice and tonight was no different.
