Sorry for the nation-wide spam, but just a short update as we head into our final series of the season to let you all know that one half of your loyal GM duo for our league (i.e. Stan) is stepping aside after a lengthy tour of duty... dating way back to 1995 if memory serves...

So when you next play Stan on the ice, feel free to levy some extra elbows and stick work, but please refrain from sending any on or off ice GM issues his way and instead deflect them to me as I will contine to manage all GM affairs from this point on (insert evil laugh here)...

Finally, I leave you with a personal note from Stan-the-Man himself:

"It's been a pleasure to have co-organized MDHL with Jason the last 13+ years. I think we have successfully created a venue for those who wish to play hockey in a fun and safe yet competitive atmosphere that promotes good sportsmanship. With time commitments from family and work, I've decided to step down from organizing MDHL but will continue to participate..." -- Stan

On behalf of the league, thanks to Stan for all his efforts and I am sure he will use this freed up time wisely to practice those deadly slappers from the slot!
